RobinOffer is a Carolina (North Carolina and South Carolina) cash home-buying company. Unlike most “we buy houses” operators, RobinOffer is affiliated with a licensed North Carolina real estate broker: Chamiese Evans, a licensed REALTOR® with NorthGroup Real Estate, Inc. We think that affiliation is a good thing, so we tell you about it up front rather than hiding it.

RobinOffer buys as a principal

When RobinOffer buys your home, RobinOffer purchases it directly as a principal — an arm's-length buyer negotiating for its own account. In that role, RobinOffer is not acting as your real estate agent and is not representing you in the transaction. Because a licensed broker (Chamiese Evans) is affiliated with RobinOffer, her licensee status is disclosed to you in writing whenever she or an affiliated entity is a party to your purchase. You are always free to hire your own agent or attorney to advise you.

Who actually funds and closes your purchase

Your contract is with RobinOffer, and RobinOffer makes the offer. We fund purchases ourselves and, when a home is a better fit for one of them, with a small group of vetted local partners. When a partner funds a purchase, RobinOffer may assign the purchase contract to that partner. Any such assignment is permitted by your contract and does not change your price, your terms, or your single point of contact. If a partner is involved, the assignment is disclosed — we do not run a hidden auction, and your information is never sold, shared, or marketed to anyone beyond that closing.

Listing is an option we'll tell you about

Sometimes a cash sale isn't your best outcome. If listing your home on the open market would likely net you more, we'll say so, and our affiliated brokerage can help you list it instead. There is never any obligation to accept a cash offer.

Brokerage supervision and commissions

Any real estate commission earned in connection with a listing or a partner-brought offer is handled through NorthGroup Real Estate, Inc. under its broker-in-charge's supervision, in accordance with North Carolina real estate law.
